While the new line-up is aimed at giving the franchise a youthful twist, Boney Kapoor admits he will 'always regret' not being able to bring back the original trio.

WhytheOriginalsWereNotRetained

Speaking to the media, Boney revealed that he waited nearly 8-10 years in hopes of reuniting Salman, Anil, and Fardeen for the sequel. However, due to date issues, career breaks, and individual choices, the plan never materialised.

He said, “Everybody had their own reasons, and I respect those reasons. But yes, I will always regret not having Salman, Anil, and Fardeen in No Entry 2.”

NewCastandReleasePlan

No Entry 2 is now set to feature Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles. The film is expected to go on floors by mid-2025 and release during Diwali 2025, on October 26, making it one of the most anticipated festive releases.

AnilKapoor’sAnger

The recasting did not go down smoothly within the Kapoor family. Boney admitted that Anil was upset about not being considered and had stopped 'talking properly' to him for some time.

Later, Anil addressed the issue himself, downplaying the rift by saying, “Ghar ki baat hai, ghar mein rehne do… Aage badho. He is never wrong.”
