Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ in trouble after Sai Pallavi’s remark on Indian Army, sparks boycott dema
‘Dangal’ fame director Nitesh Tiwari is currently busy filming his highly-anticipated epic film ‘Ramayana’, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and KGF star Yash. However, the Indian mythological action drama film inspired by the Hindu epic ‘Ramayana’ has once again landed in trouble.
Earlier, the film was tangled in legal trouble after Allu Mantena Media Ventures LLP issued a public notice claiming that the script of the film is based on their ‘Project Ramayana’. After coming out of that trouble, the film has once again landed in fresh trouble, thanks to an anti-Indian Army remark by its lead actress Sai Pallavi.
The ‘Premam’ actress’ statement has further raised questions about the film’s future and its potential delays as social media is enraged over her remarks.
During an interview, Sai stated that ‘Indian Army and Pakistan Army, both are the same’. This has not gone too well with social media users who are asking her to apologize for her statement.
She is playing the role of Maa Sita in Ramayana. Angry fans have already started demanding a boycott of the movie and the removal of Sai Pallavi from the film.
“Sai Pallavi says the Indian Army is like a terrorist group for people in Pakistan. When you have people like Sai Pallavi in India, you don't need Pakistanis!!” shared a user.
Another user shared, “Actresses like Sai Pallavi who showcase themselves as innocent, indirectly influence youngsters with communist ideologies. She said Gau Rakshaks and those responsible for the Kashmiri gen0cìde operate with similar motives. Now, she is comparing Indian Army personnel with Pakistani terrorists.”
“Why is Sai Pallavi reflecting the Pakistani sentiments? Why is she demeaning our Armed Forces? The whole world knows India has always been at the receiving end due to brainwashed Pakistani terrorists. Sai Pallavi must apologize for this statement,” shared another user.
Earlier also, the actress was accused of comparing the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus to the lynching of cattle smugglers.
