Nayanthara wishes Jawan director Atlee on his birthday amid reports of being sidelined by Deepika Padukone

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster Jawan is on a record breaking spree. The Atlee-directorial is smashing box office records and is all set to enter the Rs 1000-crore club. Fans are going gaga over SRK's double role and cannot get enough of the chemistry between King Khan and Nayanthara. 

The song 'Chaleya' has become a chartbuster with internet filled with dance videos and reels. However, earlier there were reports that the lead actress Nayanthara, lady superstar of South, isn't too happy with her character in the film. 

Nayanthara, who made her big Bollywood debut with Jawan and essayed the role of formidable special agent Narmada Rai, is reportedly feeling sidelined in the movie.  As per a report, Nayanthara is very upset with director Atlee & SRK as most of her role has been chopped off in the movie. Moreover, Deepika has been given more screen space and importance. 

While Nayanthara was signed as the lead actress, Jawan has been made to look like a Deepika-SRK movie with the 'Godfather' actress totally being sidelined. 

Reports further suggest that the South siren has decided to never work in Bollywood again. Maybe this is the reason she isn't seen in any of Jawan's promotional and sucess gatherings.

However, amidst such rumours, Nayanthara has wished director Atlee on his 37th birthday. Sharing a few behind-the-scenes shots from Jawan, Nayanthara wrote, “Happy Birthday Atlee, so proud of you,” adding a couple of emojis.

The birthday wish from Nayanthara has finally laid to rest all the rumors of a rift between the lady superstar and director Atlee.

On the work front, Nayanthara is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming movies 'Test' and 'Iravian'.
