Nayanthara recalls SHOCKING casting couch experience

South siren Nayanthara is one of the few actresses who has worked with all the top actors down South. She has been ruling the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries since her debut.

Being one of the highest paid actresses, she is termed as the lady superstar of South film industries. However, the gorgeous beauty also had her share of low phase and bad experiences. 

Recently, during a media interaction, the actress recalled about a bad casting couch experience during the initial phase of her career.

She further went on to add how she was once asked for ‘favours’ to bag a pivotal role in a movie. “But, I refused it boldly. I knew I would be able to make a mark for myself on the merit of my own talent,” she said. 

The 38-year-old actress further added that her journey in the film industry hasn’t been a cakewalk.

The beautiful actress is now married to her long-time beau and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in June 2022. They later welcomed twin boys through surrogacy and are in a happy space.

On the professional front, the stunning diva recently enthralled fans with her acting skills in her husband Vignesh’s film Connect. She will be next seen in Jawan opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan, and directed by Tamil director Atlee.

Jawan will be her first pan-Indian film releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. It also stars Vijay Sethupathi in an important role.
