Actress Nayanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan ended all speculations on Sunday and have made the big announcement of becoming parents of twins.
Vignesh shared a set of adorable pictures of the babies with Nayan. In the set of pictures, the parents are seen kissing the twins on their feet. Well, Nayan and Vignesh didn’t reveal the face of the newborns and just gave a glance of their tiny feet which is understandable by their well-wishers.
Making the big announcement, Vignesh wrote, “Nayan and Me have become Amma and We are blessed with Twin baby boys. All our prayers, our ancestors’ blessings combined wit all the good manifestations made, have come 2gether in the form of 2 blessed babies for us. Need all ur blessings for our Uyir * Uklagam. Life looks brighter & more beautiful. God is double great.”
Following the exciting announcement, admirers of the duo have showered love for the babies and congratulated the new parents. The comment boxes of the posts on different social media platforms got flooded with congratulatory notes. It seems, fans were eagerly waiting for the big announcement.
Earlier, rumours were abuzz that Nayan and Vignesh were pregnant, after the filmmaker shared a picture on social media and captioned it: "SOME KIDS TIME...PRACTICE FOR THE FUTURE."
The couple dated for almost several years before tying the knot on June 9 this year. The high-profile wedding ceremony was held in Chennai and several top celebrities including Rajnikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, AR Rahman, Mani Ratnam and Vijay Sethupathi graced the occasion to bless the newlywed couple.
The couple had their honeymoon in Spain and the duo keep their well-wishers updated about the new life journey through their social media posts.
