The popular couple from the South movie industry-Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan is planning to tie the knot after dating for a long time. Reportedly, the Tollywood director and the actress are going to get married on June 9 this year.
The couple announced their engagement last year and ever since then, speculations about their wedding have been going around. Previously, the Tollywood couple had planned a destination wedding but now has decided to make it a private affair with only close family members and friends in presence.

However, the couple has decided to throw a lavish reception to entertain their friends and colleagues from the film world later on. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Sethupathi who played lead roles along with Nayanthara in Vignesh Shivan’s latest directorial venture KRK are expected to attend the reception.
Both Nayan and Vignesh have started sending digital invites for their wedding which have now surfaced on the internet. The aesthetically designed digital invite is all about pink flowers and green creepers with white in the background and a small water body leading to a cozy nest – all giving fairy tale vibes.
The two fell in love in 2015 during the making of their movie Naanum Rowdy Dhaan but took a long time to make their relationship official owing to the tumultuous past of Nayanthara who had left the movies for Prabhu Deva but was shattered after the breakup.
The Lady Boss of South Indian cinema bounced back after her return but took her own time in finally giving a nod to marriage with Vignesh Shivan. Apart from being partners in real life, professionally as well, the Bigil actress and Vignesh have been working together in many ventures including their production house Rowdy Pictures under which they produced two movies – Pebbles and Rocky, both released last year.
