And now the Southern superstar who became a mother to twins last year through surrogacy is embarking on a new journey. She shared the news with an interesting tweet which received an immediate reaction from husband Vignesh Shivan . Nayanthara penned, “9/9/2023 Self-Love Starts Soon.” Her director-husband replied that he is very excited that she is starting a new journey.
While the actress is quite active on social media as of now, she made her debut on the web just a few days before the release of Jawan and her first post was that of her twin kids which broke the internet. She has been repeatedly sharing the pictures of her twins Uyir and Ulag on Insta but it is quite clear that she joined the social media primarily to promote Jawan.
And what a debut it has been for Nayanthara as Jawan has received the biggest-ever opening in the history of Indian film cinema. Fans now are expecting her to do more Bollywood movies and team up with other Bollywood superstars like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Hrithik Roshan.
Reportedly, she was offered a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone ’s Chennai Express almost a decade ago but she rejected the offer because at that time she was focused on doing female-centric movies. On the other hand, Rohit Shetty, the director had offered her a dance number “1,2,3.4” which later on was done by Priyamani and was a big hit.
