Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala reportedly planning destination wedding; Details inside

Tollywood actor Naga Chaitanya and actor Sobhita Dhulipala, who got engaged on August 8, are reportedly planning to tie the knot in Rajasthan.

According to reports from News18 Telugu and other regional outlets, the couple is considering two potential dates for their wedding, either at the end of this year or in March 2025. However, no official confirmation has been made by the couple or their families regarding these details.

Rajasthan is a top contender for the wedding venue, but Chaitanya and Dhulipala are also reportedly exploring locations in Madhya Pradesh and abroad for their nuptials.

When asked about the couple's wedding plans, Chaitanya's father, actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, told ‘Times Now’ that there is no rush for the wedding. He explained that the engagement took place on an auspicious day as the couple was confident in their decision to marry. Nagarjuna also shared that Chaitanya was "depressed" after his separation from actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

"Chay has found happiness again. He is very happy. So am I! It has not been an easy time for Chay or the family. The separation from Samantha left him very depressed," said Nagarjuna. "My boy doesn't show his feelings to anyone. But I knew he was unhappy. To see him smile again... Sobhita and Chay make a wonderful couple."

On the professional front, Chaitanya is currently working on his upcoming film ‘Thandel’, co-starring Sai Pallavi, which is rumoured for a Christmas release. Meanwhile, Dhulipala was last seen in the Hollywood film ‘The Monkey Man’ and has completed shooting for her next film ‘Sitara’.
