Murder 2 actress Sulagna Panigrahi and Biswa Kalyan Rath welcome baby boy with quirky post
Odisha-born TV and film actress Sulagna Panigrahi, who made her Bollywood debut with Murder 2, and standup comedian Biswa Kalyan Rath, recently confirmed welcoming their baby boy through a quirky post on Instagram. According to the post, they welcomed their baby boy on April 7, 2025. The couple also revealed the name of their son.
On Sunday, Sulagna took to Instagram and shared the video giving the first glimpse of their son. In the video, while Biswa is seen carrying the newborn in his arms, Sulagna is seen standing close to him. The duo is seen shaking their heads and body and later the couple shakes hands as a gesture of agreement. The proud parents even flash bright smiles while looking at the camera.
The caption for the post read, "Product Launch Announcement!! Product first tested on- 07..04.2025 Lots of maintenance work was going on, looked like launch would happen only after 18yrs, but some how the founders found time ! Introducing- RUSHIL PANIGRAHI RATH. Great doing business with you @biswakalyanrath." (sic)
The clip has gone viral on social media and netizens are pouring their hearts out and showering love on Rushil. Moreover, the comments section is flooded with congratulatory messages for the new parents.
Notably, Sulagna hails from Odisha's Berhampur and Biswa was born and brought up in the state. The actress worked in several telly soaps and rose to fame with her role in Amber Dhara. Later, she made her Bollywood debut with Emraan Hashmi's Murder 2. On the other hand, Biswa is a renowned stand-up comedian and shot to fame with his videos on YouTube with the name Pretentious Movie Reviews.
The duo dated for a few years before tying the knot on December 9, 2021. They left their fans surprised with their secret marriage in Bhubaneswar.
