Mrunal Thakur has emerged as one of the most sought-after actresses in Telugu cinema after her back-to-back hits like Sita Ramam and Hi Nana.
According to the latest reports, Mrunal is in talks to romance Prabhas in his next.
According to an OTT play report, the Sita Ramam fame director has approached Prabhas with a love story which he has okayed.
Reportedly, said the project will be produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and it is being said that the production house had approached Mrunal Thakur to play the female lead in this film.
Notably, it was Hanu Raghavapudi who launched Mrunal Thakur in the film Sita Ramam.
So, while choosing the female lead, Mrunal was an obvious choice by the makers. With her Telugu films doing well at the box office, it is an added bonus, believe experts.
As per reports, the discussions are at an advanced stage; however, there is no official confirmation about whether she will give her nod for this project or not.
Meanwhile, Mrunal has an interesting lineup of films. She will next be seen with Vijay Deverakonda in ‘Family Star’ which releases on April 5, 2024. The film directed by Parasuram is a family drama.
Besides the impressive main cast, the film features a talented ensemble including Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi, and Ravi Babu, and a special appearance by Rashmika Mandanna.
Mrunal will also be seen in Varun Tej's Matka directed by Karuna Kumar. She will be essaying in the role of a village belle in this film which is on the floors now.
