Mrunal Thakur bags two southern biggies; all set to make grand debut in Tamil soon

What Bollywood could not identify, the South film industry has not only recognised but also acted upon it. Here the indication is towards Mrunal Thakur who struggled to get good roles in Bollywood despite giving good performances in Super 30 and Jersey. But the Southern filmmakers noticed the talent in this outsider and thus she got some good projects like Sita Raman, Hi Nanna, and Family Star in Telugu.

While Sita Raman was a blockbuster, Hi Nanna was also an average grosser. Her upcoming movie Family Star with Vijay Deverakonda has already created anticipation. The first song from the movie has been released and fans are loving the chemistry between Mrunal and the Liger actor.

Now there is a strong buzz that Mrunal Thakur is all set to make a grand debut in the Tamil film industry and has bagged two big banner movies. Telugu360 has reported that the dusky beauty is currently discussing a project with director AR Murugadoss. She will be paired opposite Sivakarthikeyan in this romantic drama.

The shoot was scheduled to start in December last year however has been delayed. But now the makers are eager to make the announcement soon. Earlier in her interviews, Mrunal Thakur who started her career in Marathi, said that language is no barrier for her and that she is ready to work in movies in different languages.

The actress was recently in the limelight when her old video discussing how more than the star kids it is the media and the people who are promoting nepotism in the industry surfaced online. In the video, Mrunal can be seen narrating an incident when the paparazzi ran after a star kid when she was giving her speech after receiving an award. The actress said that the media did not even let her complete her speech and ran after the star kid.
