Anil Kapoor's Mr India remains one of the most successful movies of the actor. Similarly, Salman Khan's Wanted remains one of his iconic flicks. Both the movies produced by renowned filmmaker Boney Kapoor emerged as blockbusters and the audience is eagerly waiting for their sequels. Earlier, rumours were abuzz about the sequels but there was no official confirmation backing the claims. Recently, a sequel of 'No Entry' was announced with a fresh star cast which has once again reignited the speculations for sequels of Mr India and Wanted.

Now, Boney Kapoor finally has broken his silence regarding the much-awaited sequels of the blockbuster movies.
Recently, while talking on News18 Showsha, Boney Kapoor dropped major updates on both the sequels.

Boney was quoted as saying, "Wanted, I’ve spoken to Salman. I don’t know when that will happen but he has committed to me that he’ll do it whenever I decide, whenever I get the right script. This is the last conversation I had when I had gone to him to tell him that I’m going with No Entry with a fresh star cast."

Further, Boney added that when he said to Salman that he will be making Wanted and if he (Salman) will be a part of it. To this, Sallu gave a nod.

As Boney revealed, he has an idea for the Wanted sequel and will develop it. Though the time is uncertain, he is assured that it will happen and hopes that it will happen soon.

Further, talking about Mr India's sequel, the filmmaker said, "I’ve had a couple of meetings with a big overseas studio who are very keen to join hands with us. It could be a collaboration for a foreign studio, Zee and me. It may not be a sequel, it could just be a reboot or whatever. The idea is to make Mr India again. It could happen this year, it could happen next year or the following year. This kind of film cannot be planned in a jiffy."

Furthermore, Boney also talked about what made Mr India superhit. He said, "Why is it an iconic film? I would say because of Satish Kaushik playing Calendar, Amrish Puri playing Mogambo, Anil playing Arun Verma who’s taking care of the children and Sri playing Seema the reporter. In fact, even Annu Kapoor who played the editor."

No Entry sequel without Anil Kapoor!

Recently, Boney confirmed the sequel of 2005's multi-starrer comedy No Entry. The movie originally starred Salman Khan, Fardeen Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta and Celina Jaitley in key roles. Helmed by Anees Bazmee, the movie was a blockbuster. Meanwhile, the sequel will star Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Kapoor along with 10 actresses. Soon after the announcement, reports surfaced that Anil Kapoor was angry with Boney as he wanted to be a part of the film but his producer brother denied him saying that there was 'no space' for him. The producer mentioned that his brother is still not talking properly with him.

Well, if the same thing happens with Mr India 2, it can only be assumed, how angry Anil will get.
