Mirzapur Season 3: Ali Fazal, Rasika Dugal steal the show in new posters

The much-awaited third season of ‘Mirzapur’ was finally released on July 5, after a four-year-long wait. The crime drama series, now available on Amazon Prime Video, consists of 10 episodes centred around the throne of Mirzapur. Despite garnering mixed responses, the show continues to enjoy soaring viewership.

To maintain the buzz, the makers unveiled two intriguing posters featuring Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) and Beena Tripathi (Rasika Dugal). 

In the first poster, dressed in contrasting outfits, Ali Fazal and Rasika Dugal strike an enthralling pose. Rasika, with a mysterious smile, is seated on a chair while Ali rests his face on her lap, sitting on the floor. The second snapshot shows Rasika seated at a table with disorganized crockery, emphasizing the engaging twist of ‘Mirzapur’. 

The poster's caption reads, “Kya maloom kaun hai shikari aur kaun shikar!” (Who knows who is the hunter and who is the prey!)

Despite high expectations, ‘Mirzapur 3’ has faced criticism for the lack of screen time for Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) and Shatrugan/Bharath Tyagi (Vijay Varma). However, some viewers are impressed, dubbing it the "Guddu Pandit show."

Amidst the mixed reviews, ‘Mirzapur 3’ remains one of the most successful Indian web series.

Rasika Dugal recently shared her thoughts with Moneycontrol about her character Beena. She said, “I think she really allows me to explore the side of myself that I don’t allow myself to explore in my real life. That’s what I look forward to about her.

I have always admired women who unapologetically wear their sexuality on their sleeves. I have always found it beautiful to watch. Every time I see a woman like that, I look at them almost enviously.”

Ali Fazal, meanwhile, is set to welcome his first child in August with his wife Richa Chadha. The actress announced her pregnancy earlier this year with a sweet post on Instagram.
