Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor seems to be quite excited as the trailer of her upcoming was released today (October 15). The official trailer of Janhvi’s Mili, a survival thriller film, inspired by true events, will certainly fill chills in the spines of moviegoers. 

Helmed by Mathukutty Xavier and produced by Boney Kapoor, Mili is an official remake of Malayalam flick Helen. 

The story plot revolves around a girl named Mili Naudiwal, who resides with her single father. However, she has to step out of town to pursue her career. Later, she joins a restaurant as a waitress to meet her end needs. However, due to some circumstances, she gets herself locked inside a deep freezer vault. While her father, friends, and others are trying hard to find her, she is fighting inside the freezer to stay alive. 

As the trailer reveals, Janhvi shares a close bond with her father just like a friend. After she steps out for her career, she meets an old friend and falls in love. Meanwhile, things didn’t turn in her favour. After a squabble at her workplace, she gets locked in the freezer for unknown circumstances. With every passing moment, the temperature inside the freezer drops down posing a threat to Mili. She makes a lot of efforts to break open the vault, but all in vain. With falling temperature, it becomes painful for her even to breathe. The conditions forced her to protect herself, by all means, using cloth and adhesive tapes and several other stuff. However, she starts bleeding in the bone-chilling condition. 

Will Mili be able to survive under such conditions? The trailer certainly looks promising and more about the story will be revealed in the full movie that is scheduled for theatrical release on Nov 4.

While the story plot is quite engaging, it seems, Janhvi has been leaving no stone unturned to cement her space in the industry. 

Meanwhile, fans and movie lovers have heaped praise on Janhvi for her spectacular performance in Mili. Even, movie buffs went on to say that Janhvi has been choosing such challenging roles which will certainly fuel her career. It seems, her impactful acting’s glance in the trailer has certainly impressed one and all. Considering the response, it can be speculated that the movie will have a decent collection at the box office unlike recent other movies from Bollywood. Admirers have wished luck to the actress and the eagerness for the movie’s release is quite obvious from it.

Directed by National Award winner Xavier, Mili is the first film of Janhvi in which she has teamed up with her producer father. The movie also features Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Jahnvi has teased her fans with a set of pictures in a red saree. Janhvi looks jaw-dropping in her saree. The set of pictures also included one with her father.

She captioned her post, "And I’ve realised the best way to pose when you’re sleep deprived and shaking with nervousness is to avoid eye contact and look mysterious."
