  • A few scenes where Bhaiyya Ji can be seen smoking a cigarette and others look monotonous.
  • The movie has Bihar as the backdrop and revolves around Ram Charan aka Bhaiyya ji.

Manoj Bajpayee-led Bhaiyya Ji has now been released in the theaters. The movie seems to be inspired by the swag of KGF’s Rocky Bhai and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa. Although Bajpayee looks menacing and delivers the aggression and violence expected from him as the angry young man. The dialogue and storyline leave a lot for imagination making the lead star’s character look like a toothless tiger.

A few scenes where Bhaiyya Ji can be seen smoking a cigarette, beating the notorious gundas all in slow motion seem almost similar to what we have seen all these years ever since Mr. Bachchan made an angry young man alive on Bollywood screen. And as expected, Bhaiyya ji has a sob story at the back for this violence. The movie has Bihar as the backdrop and revolves around Ram Charan aka Bhaiyya ji portrayed by Manoj Bajpayee.

The flick begins with an over-aged Bhaiyya Ji getting married to his fiancé (Zoya Hussain). Although celebrations are going around, many people are also making jokes at Ram Charan for marrying so late in life. The first half an hour is full of violence, and dead bodies but with no explanation, and at one point it gets unnerving and unbearable.

After that, the movie starts finding its rhythm. It is all about how a stepmother manipulates her stepson into taking revenge and killing the enemies responsible for the death of his brother and eventually lands up in jail. To make sure that the movie is full of entertainment, director Apoorv Singh Karki has used all the masala that is a part of all such formula movies.

From the entire village coming to Delhi to give justice to Bhaiyya Ji to the script around the Bhatakti Aatma of Vedang, everything is so hotchpotch that the movie fails to deliver the level of entertainment expected.
