Ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali finally raised the curtains and made the much-awaited announcement about his next. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal have been roped in for the magnum-opus director’s next. The epic-saga titled ‘Love & War’ is a fresh love story set against the backdrop of war.
On January 24, the Bajirao Mastani director made an official announcement about his next multi-starrer with the powerhouse of talents-trio.
Vicky and Alia made the announcement on social media with a poster that had the signatures of all three actors. Along with the actors, other team members took to social media and dropped the announcement poster. The poster reads: We bring you Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Epic Saga Love & War. (sic)
Further, the poster reads: See you at the movies! Christmas 2025. (sic)
Later, Alia expressed her excitement and wrote in her Instagram story, “Back with the best…My favourite kind of reunion. Can’t wait…,” (sic)
The movie will go on the floors in a few months and is targeted for theatrical release on Christmas 2025. However, more about the movie is not known.
Meanwhile, the announcement has filled excitement among all. Fans have already witnessed Bhansali’s projects with Ranbir and Alia. While fans are excited to see the onscreen chemistry of Ranbir and Alia after Brahmastra, Vicky, and Ranbir have already worked together in multiple movies. Witnessing the trio in Bhansali’s Epic Saga would certainly be a visual spectacle.
Reacting to the announcement, a fan wrote, “RANBIR, ALIA, VICKY??? OMG IM SO EXCITED” (sic)
Meanwhile, another fan wrote, “Sanjay leela bhansali and alia bhatt are coming back y’all the best duo ever.” (sic)
“The most talented actor of this generation coming together with the magician SLB!!!! CANT WAIT,” wrote a third user. (sic)
It is pertinent to mention here that Ranbir made his acting debut in Bhansali’s Saawariya, however, the movie turned out to be a commercial disaster. Now, after many years the duo has teamed up and Ranbir has come a long way with his performance. On the other hand, Alia teamed up with the director for Gangubai Kathiawadi which emerged as one of the most successful movies of the year. Alia clinched the Best Actress award at the National Awards and the rest is history. Though Vicky hasn’t yet worked with Bhansali, he has proved time and again as a talented actor and the response to his recent Sam Bahadur says it all.
Recently, Ranbir-Alia and Vicky-Katrina attended the grand ceremony of Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha. The couple duo clicked multiple pictures and even enjoyed a buggy ride in the city.
