Lokesh Kanagaraj shares update on 'biggest actioner' with Aamir Khan, 'Meant for global audience'

The announcement of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan teaming up with Lokesh Kanagaraj for a superhero flick has thrilled cinephiles. While fans have been eyeing more updates on the project, recently, Lokesh shared some major information related to the movie. Lokesh said that 'for now, he can't say if it is a superhero movie, but it will be the biggest action movie and is meant for a global audience.'

Lokesh's Movie With Aamir Khan

During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Lokesh shared that after wrapping Kaithi 2, he will team up with Aamir Khan.

He said, "It will be a Hindi film but meant for a global audience, not just Indians. He is a lot similar to Kamal sir… For now, I can’t say if it’s a superhero film, but it will be the biggest action movie from my lineup."

Notably, Lokesh's project with Khan will be the former's directorial debut in the Hindi film industry. The director confirmed that it will be his biggest project so far.

Well, fans certainly can't wait for more updates on the movie.

Notably, Khan's 'Sitaare Zameen Par', helmed by RS Prasanna, is a box office hit. The sports drama made at a budget of Rs 80 crore is inching closer to the Rs 250 crore mark. Fans certainly can't wait to see their matinee idol on the big screen in an action avatar, especially when Lokesh is at the helm.

Coolie Trailer on...?

Undeniably, Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming action-thriller Coolie has been generating immense buzz. With Thalaivar Rajinikanth in the lead, the movie features Tollywood King Nagarjuna as the antagonist. The movie also stars Shruti Haasan, Upendra and Sathyaraj in key roles. Moreover, Aamir Khan has a powerful cameo in the movie.
