One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Liger, will see the debut of Vijay Deverakonda in Bollywood. The film will also mark Vijay's first pan-India project.

While the film is scheduled to release later this month, Liger's first movie review by the Censor Board is out.

As per sources, Liger has got a UA certificate and the runtime of the movie is 2 hours and 20 minutes.

According to a Bollywood Life report, Vijay and Ananya Panday starrer Liger has taken the censor board by surprise. All the star cast of Liger have impressed the board members with their actions while they seemed to be super impressed by Vijay's performance as he has put a lot of efforts into the movie and it shows in every frame.

The board also loved Puri Jagannadh's characterization of  Deverakonda's character in the movie. As he has taken minute details into account from Vijay's dialogue delivery including his stammering speech to the body language.

Ramya Krishna's character, maternal sentiment, and also the love angle between Vijay -Ananya have been liked by the board and they feel it will also add to the movie, said the report.

As per the technical aspect, the censor board praised Vishnu Sharma for the stunning visuals of the film. Liger's action choreography by Kecha has also blown away the minds of the board. They also loved the background score in Liger.

The censor board members feel that the short runtime, action, character development, and dialogue delivery will work a big time for the movie and will be loved by the masses.

Helmed by Puri Jagannadh and backed by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects, Liger is scheduled to release on August 25 in the theatres in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
