Lesser known facts about Gadar 2 actress Simrat Kaur

Sunny Deol-starrer Gadar 2 has created a storm at the box office. The sequel of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha has opened to thunderous response and is breaking all the box office records. All the actors in the movie are earning praise from all quarters for their awesome performances in the movie.

However, a new face has been winning the hearts of millions in the movie. Well, she is none other than the gorgeous Simrat Kaur Randhawa.

For the unversed, Simrat is already a well-known face down South after her superhit movie ‘Dirty Hari’. Hailing from Mumbai, Simrat is born to a Punjabi family. She made her debut in Telugu movie Prematho Mee Karthik in 2017.

She has featured in Punjabi music video Burj Khalifa and Laara Lappa and Mika Singh’s Tere Bin Zindagi. She also appeared in a cameo role in Nagarjuna’s Bangarraju. She is currently winning the hearts of everyone by playing the role of Utkarsh Sharma’s wife and Sunny Deol’s daughter-in-law in Gadar 2.

Helmed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 is a sequel to Gadar. Sunny Deol is reprising his role as Tara Singh while Ameesha and Utkarsh are essaying the roles of Sakina and Charanjeet Singh respectively. Simrat Kaur is playing the love interest of Charanjeet.

The movie is running theatre-packed with the audience reaching movie halls in tractors to watch the film. Even actors Salman Khan and Kangana Ranaut couldn’t help but shower praises on the film.

As per reports, the movie has collected a whopping Rs 40.10 crore at the box office on Day 1.
