Krrish 4 update: Hrithik Roshan's superhero flick to go on floors in...
Finally, the long wait is about to end and fans will get to see their favourite Indian superhero Krrish soon. As per the latest update, the much-awaited film Krrish 4 will soon go to the floors and Hrithik Roshan is gearing up to switch from super-spy to superhero by reprising his role as Krrish. Reportedly, Krrish 4 will go on the floors in 2025.
According to a report by Mid-Day, Duggu is all set to return to his iconic role while donning his trademark black trenchcoat, over a decade after the release of Krrish 3 (2023).
Further, the report suggests that Hrithik will kickstart shooting for Krrish 4 as soon as he wraps up shooting for War 2, also starring Jr NTR and Kiara Advani in pivotal roles. Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is a part of Yash Raj Films (YRF) Spy Universe and is in its final stages. However, a final schedule is reportedly planned for April 2025. The final sequence to be shot is believed to be a critical action sequence that aims to be better than 2019's War.
The report states, "The April schedule will be dedicated entirely to these high-octane sequences, after which the spy thriller will wrap."
If the reports are anything to go by, Hrithik will reunite with his Agneepath director Karan Malhotra for Krrish 4. Karan has been closely working with Rakesh Roshan to refine the script for the last two years. Hrithik has also been involved in the creative process.
Further, the report states that Roshans are keen to raise the benchmark in the superhero genre with Krrish 4. Meanwhile, extensive schedules have been planned in Mumbai and selective locations of Europe.
