Notably, Hrithik Roshan played Rohit Mehra's role in the sci-fi action movie Koi...Mil Gaya (2003). Later, he was seen in double roles in Krrish (2006) and Krrish 3 (2013). However, the makers pulled down the curtains on Rohit's character in the third instalment.

Well, according to the latest report, Krrish 4 may bring back Rohit Mehra and Nisha (Preity Zinta). Moreover, considering the time travel theory, Krrish may meet his past self from another timeline. Even it is speculated that Hrithik might also be seen as the central antagonist in Krrish 4.

According to a report by India Today, the fourth instalment of the popular superhero franchise will delve into the complexities of time travel, drawing inspiration from global blockbusters Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

The news portal quoted a close source to the development as saying, "The plan is for Krrish to move through different timelines-past and future- to eliminate a major threat. While high on VFX and production, the film will remain rooted in family emotions and relationships."

Behind the scenes, the project has reportedly undergone several iterations before arriving at the final script. With the creative partnership formed between Hrithik and YRF Studios, Krrish 4 is moving into production with high expectations.

The most intriguing development is Hrithik's triple roles. Apart from reprising Rohit and Krrish's role, Hrithik will be likely seen as the prime antagonist in Krrish 4.
