Kriti Sanon and Prabhas to get engaged in Maldives? Adipurush actress shares cryptic post

Ever since they paired up for the much-anticipated movie Adipurush, Kriti Sanon and Prabhas have been hogging the limelight for their alleged relationship. Now, buzz mills are rife that the rumored couple will soon get engaged in the holiday destination Maldives.

Amid the buzz, Kriti has shared a cryptic post on her Instagram story. Taking to her Instagram story, Kriti shared a clip of Oprah and captioned it, ‘word’ with a salute emoticon.

In the clip, Oprah is saying, “Expecting people to do what you would do in a situation only leads to your disappointment, not theirs. They’re going on with their life. So, let people be who they are and either you accept it, or you don’t. Not doing that keeps you stuck in a circumstance that actually costs you time, it costs you energy.”

It is not clear if the cryptic post has anything to do with her linkup rumours with Prabhas. However, it seems like the actress is indirectly taking a dig at the rumours and choosing to focus on her work instead.

Earlier, the team of Prabhas had also quashed the rumours and said they are ‘just friends’.

Rumours of Prabhas dating Kriti began when Bhediya actor Varun Dhawan opened up about the alleged relationship on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. Varun said, “Kriti ka naam isliye nahin tha kyunki Kriti ka naam kisi ke dil me hai. Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika Padukone ke saath.”

Soon after, Kriti clarified that the rumours are absolutely baseless. ”Its neither Pyaaar, nor PR. Our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter lead to sow Howl-arious rumours. Before some portal announces my wedding date, let me burst your bubble. The rumours are absolutely baseless,” read her Instagram statement.

On the work front, Kriti and Prabhas will star together in Om Raut’s Adipurush which will hit theatres on June 16, 2023.
