Ranveer Singh has created quite a storm on social media after his nude pictures surfaced on the internet today. While the audience is used to watching Bollywood biggies going shirtless or in semi-nude appearances, dropping all the clothes has been a rare thing, although not completely ruled out.
Here are some actors who went naked on the screen. Importantly, most of these shots were taken very aesthetically and hence were well received publicly.

Aamir Khan is known for being perfect. The actor went naked for his movie PK directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Although he covered his nude click adequately with a radio, it did offend a certain segment of society and one lawyer from Kanpur even filed a case against him.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali launched two big star kids-Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor in Saawariya. While usually, the newbie actress is expected to enhance the glamour quotient of the screen by dropping a few clothes, SLB went the other way round and decided to feature a naked Ranbir barely covered by a white, Turkish towel which left very little for the imagination. Considering that it was the debut movie of Ranbir, it was quite a bold move but that which clicked with the audience.

The handsome actor was a model before becoming an actor and hence was quite used to going bare on the ramp and for the photoshoots. However, he surprised everyone by going nude in New York which also starred Katrina Kaif and Neil Nitin Mukesh. The Shootout at Wadala actor made the temperature soar once again when he set the screen on fire wearing nothing but yellow short pants in Karan Johar-produced Dostana.
Rajkummar Rao
Hansal Mehta is known for directing unconventional movies which are similar to the choices made by Rajkummar Rao to date. He played the titular role of Shahid in the movie, a lawyer who is a human rights activist, and also went nude for one scene in the movie.
Neil Nitin Mukesh
The blue-eyed handsome actor has been doing all sorts of roles from protagonist to antagonist and has been quite liberal when it comes to choosing a movie. He appeared nude for a scene in Madhur Bhandarkar-helmed movie Jail.
