‘Kill’ star Lakshya to romance Ananya Panday in next flick!

After the success of his recent action film ‘Kill’, actor Lakshya has reportedly signed another project with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

In a shift from his intense action-packed role in ‘Kill’, Lakshya will take on a romantic avatar, starring opposite Ananya Panday, as reported by ‘Times Now’. The film is scheduled to begin shooting in 2025 and will be directed by Vivek Soni, known for his 2021 film ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar’.

This new project marks a significant change in Lakshya's on-screen persona. After delivering an impactful performance as an NSG commando in ‘Kill’, the actor is now set to explore the romantic genre. 

This 360-degree turn from action to romance showcases Lakshya's versatility and his willingness to experiment with diverse roles. His pairing with Ananya Panday, another Karan Johar protégé, is expected to bring a fresh chemistry to the screen.

Lakshya credits Karan Johar as a mentor and has expressed deep gratitude for his guidance and support. Reflecting on his first meeting with Johar, Lakshya shared that the filmmaker assured him of his backing in the film industry. "I feel like I have a guardian in Mumbai to look after me," Lakshya said, adding that both Johar and Dharma CEO Apoorva Mehta have given him the confidence to navigate his career in Bollywood.

‘Kill’ emerged as a surprise hit of 2024, establishing Lakshya as a promising action star, despite facing criticism for its violent content.
