Khiladi and Anari Reunite! Akshay Kumar begins shooting ‘Haiwaan’ with Saif Ali Khan

Bollywood fans are in for a treat as Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, the duo celebrated for their impeccable comic timing in Main Khiladi Tu Anari, reunite on-screen. The actors have officially begun shooting for their upcoming film Haiwaan with filmmaker Priyadarshan, announcing it through a playful video that perfectly captures their camaraderie.

Akshay and Saif’s Playful On-Set Banter

On Saturday, Akshay took to Instagram to share the exciting news. In the video, he is seen holding the clapboard while Saif and Priyadarshan engage in some light-hearted teasing. Akshay sports a T-shirt reading 'Saint', prompting Priyadarshan to joke that Saif should be wearing it instead, while Akshay should be holding the Haiwaan clapboard.

Akshay quipped, “For all you know, he must be a devil.” 

Saif replied, “Inside.” 

Meanwhile, Priyadarshan added with a grin, “Anyway, I’m working with two devils.” 

Pointing to Priyadarshan, Akshay said, “This devil you know about,” and gesturing at Saif, “and this devil you don’t know about. But I know this devil very well.” 

Saif wrapped up the playful exchange, saying the two now know each other extremely well.

Sharing the clip, Akshay wrote,
"Hum sab hi hain thode se shaitaan… Koi upar se Saint, koi andar se Haiwaan (we all are a little naughty; someone looks saintly, someone is a devil at heart). What We Know About Haiwaan

Haiwaan is reportedly a Hindi remake of the 2016 Malayalam hit Oppam, starring Mohanlal. The project was first announced by Priyadarshan in July, with a photo of Saif and Akshay at the India vs England Test Match at Lord’s Cricket Stadium in London. While more details about the storyline remain under wraps, this marks the on-screen reunion of Akshay and Saif after their 2008 film Tashan.
