Kannada Film Industry (KFI)'s Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar though is not among us, still remains alive in the hearts of his fans, colleagues, movie lovers and the entire fraternity. It's been over a month now but it is still unbelievable for many that the ever-charming youth icon has set off on a voyage from where he will never come back.
October 29, 2021 will keep haunting cine lovers and the Kannada film fraternity. Puneeth aka Appu, who won everyone's heart and earned the respect of all for his simplicity and philanthropic activities, was an ace in acting as well as dancing. While everyone was mourning the irreparable loss, December 6 once again has lit faces of his admirers including KGF's Rocky Bhai aka Yash and its helmer Prashanth Neel.
The Kannada industry came alive today while sharing the Title Teaser of Puneeth's last movie- Gandhada Gudi. Produced by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar the teaser is now streaming on YouTube on the PRK Audio channel. The movie stars Puneeth and Amoghavarsha in the lead. Directed By Amoghavarsha, the film will release under his home banner PRK Productions in association with Mudskipper.
The YouTube description read: "Appu’s dream, an incredible journey, a celebration of our land and it's legend. It's time for the return - "Gandhada Gudi" in a full length film."
The opening screen read "Based on true events" and shows Puneeth venturing into the wild with Amoghavarsha, who is well known for his documentaries on wildlife. The project will be tentatively about the adventures of Puneeth which has been captured by the filmmaker and wildlife photographer.
Yash shared the poster making the announcement with a heartfelt note that read: I remember the twinkle in your eyes every time u spoke about this project. The passion, the enthusiasm u had towards this film showed how close it was to your heart. Thank you Appu sir for showing our Gandhadagudi through your eyes. It's truly a paradise.
