And, this is not the first time that a South Indian movie has won the hearts of millions of Bollywood audiences as earlier too Yash’s KGF and both the Baahubali movies became massive blockbusters and even made good business in the Northern belt of India which mostly follows Bollywood for entertainment.

With such Southern movies making it big in Bollywood, and hugely hyped flicks like Ranveer Singh’s 83, Salman Khan’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai receiving a lukewarm response, it is time Hindi film industry review as to why it is not getting the expected response and why they have not been able to come up with big masala movies like KGF and Pushpa: The Rise in more than a decade or so.

Though there have been big hits like Bajrangi Bhaijan, Sooryavanshi, Simmba, Shershaah, and Tiger Zinda Hai, they failed to emerge as a masala entertainer for which Bollywood movies were known earlier. From Bollywood facing a creativity crisis to direct releases of Southern movies in Hindi cutting down remake possibilities, netizens discussed many aspects of why Bollywood is failing whereas Southern stars and the content has emerged as a winner. However, there were a few who believed that Bollywood has been delivering good movies like Ajay Devgn's Tanhaji; and, Southern stars may become successful but cannot rule Bollywood.
