KGF Clocks 3 Years: Fans Just Can't Wait For Yash's Next, Hope Remains Alive After 'BIG Disappointment'

All were expecting a big update today but the makers haven't yet made any official announcement regarding the same. Though fans have expressed disappointment, the huge fan base of Yash aka Rocky Bhai and KGF movie have reminisced the 'historic' moment.

It's been 3 years now, but fans are yet to overcome the hangover of KGF Chapter 1. 

December 21, 2018 marked the release of the Kannada-origin movie KGF 1 that is being remembered as a historic moment by action movie lovers. Kannada Film Industry (KFI)'s Rocking Star Yash went on to become a pan-India star with KGF that released in multiple languages. Even though it has covered a journey of 3 years, cine lovers across the world are still in awe of several 'historic' moments from the movie. 

Helmed by ace-South director Prashanth Neel, KGF caught the attention of people across the world and became the highest-grossing Kannada movie of all time. Meanwhile, KGF Chapter 2 release date is inching closer with just 114 days left for the big day. KGF 2 release date is scheduled on April 14, 2022 and anticipation among KGF lovers is mounting with each passing day.

Several social media users shared clips from the movie including Prashanth Neel. Fans are waiting with bated breath and excitement for KGF 2 release which is proven by the posts streaming on social media. 

Even, the Ministry of Information and Broadcast's Directorate of Film Festivals, India, celebrated the moment through its post on Twitter. The post's caption read: "Revisit this powerful dialogue from Kannada period drama action film #KGF: Chapter 1 released on this day in 2018. At the 66th #NationalFilmAwards, it two awards for Best Action & Special Effects. The film features Yash @TheNameIsYash in the lead role."

The magnum opus, KGF Chapter 1, showcased the true potential of Sandalwood in the world of entertainment. Several iconic scenes from the first instalment of KGF franchise still give Goosebumps to many. In addition to that, the inclusion of Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon has hyped the keenness for KGF chapter 2. 

Sanju will be seen as the lead antagonist Adheera in KGF 2 while Raveena will be portraying the character of Ramika Sen, the Prime Minister of India. Rocky Bhai, portrayed by Yash, will be seen locking horns with the duo and fans are quite hopeful that the scenes will be a visual treat for all. The glances of the same in the official teaser has skyrocketed the eagerness.

While there are no updates from the makers as expected, as of now, the hope still remains alive as Yash's birthday is inching closer. All are hopeful that the KGF makers won't disappoint them on January 8 as they are preparing to celebrate the Rocking Star's birthday with a blast.

Many users earlier have taken to social media to express their expectations that include the release of KGF Chapter 2 official trailer or at least a big update from the movie.

However, all have to wait with patience for the same.
