KGF Chapter 2 is continuing its spree of engraving milestones globally. Rocking Star Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon's character portrayal in the sequel has exceeded everyone's expectations.
Apart from the overwhelming response of the worldwide audience, KGF 2 has been widely appreciated by several biggies of the Indian film industry including Thalaiva Rajinikanth.
Meanwhile, buzz related to KGF Chapter 3 has taken the internet by storm.
Is KGF Chapter 3 Happening?
Following the climax, the end card of the movie showed a glance at KGF Chapter 3, the final draft of El Dorado. Though many would have missed out the last frames after the end credits, by now, all are aware of the likelihood of the third installment.
Earlier in 2020, helmer Prashanth Neel had cleared the airs that there was no chance of extending the KGF franchise just for the sake of it.
Neel had said, "I will not be compromising on the story if the franchise had to move forward and I, along with other producers, are in no mood to make any such compromises."
Further, he went on to add, "KGF: Chapter 2 will mark the end of a short but highly impactful franchise."
KGF 2 served the best actions and thrills which went beyond expectations of all. And now, fans have pinned hopes that the makers will bring the third part.
What strengthens the buzz?
KGF lovers by now have learnt the entire story and witnessed their beloved Rocky Bhai building his empire and becoming the most powerful person with the tag of the 'Biggest Criminal of India', who dared throwing a face-to-face challenge to the Prime Minister of India. Moreover, Rocky locked horns with his rivals which served several amazing scenes.
Now as the buzz has strengthened, many are expecting that KGF Chapter 3 is most likely to happen.
KGF 2 viewers might be remembering the scene where kid Rocky is seen interacting with her mother who narrated him a story: "A prince dares the storm in the midnight to achieve his aims. Though the night was violent, without any fear, he all alone on his boat set out on the journey to achieve his target on the glittering ocean."
Kid Rocky when inquired as to why the ocean glitters, her mother said 'deep in the ocean, there are tons of gold'. Further, the kid was anxious to know if his mother liked gold or not and went on to promise that he would bring her gold from the entire world.
The entire story was all about the promise made by Rocky to his mother and fulfilling it. Even Rocky had vowed to do anything to fulfill the promises made to his mother.
In the climax, Rocky is seen travelling on a ship all alone in the Indian Ocean and it was a stormy night. Even, he had several containers of gold on his ships. Rocky landed in the deep waters of the ocean with all the gold. The story narrated by his mother years back seemed to have a resemblance to this scene. Isn't it!
Though it didn't seem that Rocky had an escape plan, informing the US Navy was something fishy. If Rocky had intentions to end everything, informing the US Navy was not needed. As Rocky says, criminals think ahead and he might have planned to escape by informing the US Navy while the Indian Navy gets engaged in a fight with the US forces.
On the other hand, it could be the US Navy that would rescue Rocky from the waters. After rising from the waters, Rocky might conquer the world with his might, power and money.
The echoing voice of kid Rocky, 'I will bring you gold from all over the world Maa' and Rocky sinking into the deep ocean was something not convincing for many.
Even when Ramika Sen released an order to take stringent action on priority basis to bust Rocky's warehouses and arrest his associates, Inayath Khalil was taking a glance on a magazine and a newspaper which showed Rocky vs Ramika. While the magazine's cover page showed, is world's biggest criminal in India, the newspaper showed, Ramika Sen, a leader or dictator.
Even there is a buzz on social media that claims executive producer of Hombale Films Karthik Gowda has spilled the beans that the team is working on KGF Chapter 3's pre-production work.
In case, if Rocky actually met a watery grave that brought his end as well as of KGF, the third installment might uncover the story between 1979-1981 (that was skipped) or other prominent instances of Rocky's life missed out in both the parts.
However, there is no official comment or confirmation supporting KGF Chapter 3. On the other hand, even if the reports and analysis turn out to be just imagination, KGF lovers are highly hopeful of witnessing more thrills and action of their beloved Rocky Bhai.
KGF 2 on Spree Of Breaking Global Records
KGF 2 is unstoppably setting new records in the history of Indian cinema by minting around Rs 550 crore in the first 4 days. On day 5, the movie crossed the mark of Rs 625 crore worldwide to become the ninth highest-grossing Indian film of all time. As per the latest update, KGF 2 has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark in the Hindi belt.
Film Critic Taran Adarsh wrote, "#KGF2 is UNSTOPPABLE... SUPERB HOLD on a working day [Mon]... Eyes ₹ 270 cr [+/-] in extended Week 1... Should cross #Dangal lifetime biz, if it maintains the pace... Thu 53.95 cr, Fri 46.79 cr, Sat 42.90 cr, Sun 50.35 cr, Mon 25.57 cr. Total: ₹ 219.56 cr. #India biz."
