KGF's Rocky Bhai aka Rocking Star Yash is all set to roar in the theatres on April 14. As the day of KGF Chapter 2 theatrical release is inching closer, several facets are unfolding after the makers opted to remain silent for quite a long period.
First, it was the announcement of the trailer launch, next it was the first lyrical video song, and now it is about the preparations for trailer release as well as release plans for KGF Chapter 2.
With only three days left for the trailer release, Hombale Films on Thursday dropped a video that gives a glance of KGF Chapter 2.
KGF Chapter 2 Trailer Release- Big Plans On Cards
Fans are quite excited to witness Rocky Bhai building his empire in Narachi and his violent clash with the antagonist Adheera, Ramika Sen, Inayath Khalil and other government officials. However, before the big stage is set, the makers are all set to enthral all with the official trailer on March 27 at 6.40 pm.
KGF producer and the founder of Hombale Films, Vijay Kiragandur had recently unveiled that the trailer will be one of the biggest events which will be graced by people from across industries.
Kiragandur added, "We are in talks with a big Bollywood personality to host the event.”
Further explaining about plans of releasing the official trailer only two weeks ahead of the movie, Kiragandur said that they didn't wish to get lost in between other big movies.
"We wanted a clear window, to be at the centre of attraction. In Karnataka, a Puneeth Rajkumar film was released and we wanted to commence our campaign after the release of his film. We started our journey with him, and we couldn’t have clashed our campaign with his film,” he said.
Baahubali Prabhas To Attend KGF 2 Pre-Release Event As Chief Guest
Rumours are rife that Baahubali aka Prabhas will be attending the pre-release event of KGF Chapter 2 Telugu version as the Chief Guest.
Though there is no confirmation regarding the buzz, it can be expected as Prabhas' next Salaar is being produced under Hombale Films banner and helmed by Prashanth Neel. Moreover, Prabhas shares a good bond with Yash. So, it can be expected that Prabhas will be attending the mega event.
KGF 2 To Release In Across 6000 Screens
KGF Chapter 2 is one of the most anticipated movies and has shattered several world records, be it the official teaser or the lyrical video song 'Toofan' that was released a few days back. The makers are on a spree of setting milestones with KGF Chapter 2.
Considering the current excitement among fans for KGF 2, it is quite obvious that the official trailer will shatter several other records of the Indian cinema as well as the global cine industry. Producer Kiragandur has further promised that KGF 2 will be a benchmark for the Indian cine industry. Moreover, he has high hopes that KGF 2 trailer will get a bigger audience response compared to the teaser.
Spilling out such big plans for the pre-release event of KGF 2, Kiragandur also said, "We will be releasing KGF Chapter 2 in around 6000 screens across India. We just hope to get all the screens. All our distributors are working with partners to reach that figure."
Further, expressing confidence for KGF Chapter 2, Kiragandur said, "We have always believed in the script and director. The quality of KGF Chapter 1 was exceptional and its success has given us the confidence to make the sequel at least 10 times bigger than KGF."
