KGF Chapter 2 Outranks RRR, Beast; Audience Celebrate Rocky Bhai's Monster Swag

KGF Chapter 2 is the new craze of Indian cinema, celebrated by movie lovers across the globe. The sequel to KGF Chapter 1 has smashed several box office records including the recently released RRR.

Yes, SS Rajamouli's RRR went on to become the highest-grossing Indian Cinema ever in terms of first day collections but now Yash starrer KGF 2 has become the highest-grossing cinema in Hindi. 

As per reports, the total day 1 collection of RRR in India was Rs 156 crore of which North India recorded the collection of Rs 25 crore alone. However, KGF 2 has created history with the biggest day one collection in Hindi version minting Rs 53.95 crore. 

In doing so, the Prashanth Neel's movie has crushed the earlier records of Hrtihik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War (Rs 51.60 crore) and Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs of Hindostan (Rs 50.75 crore). 

While Yash's much-anticipated movie KGF 2 has become the biggest opener in Hindi with its total Box Office collection in India at Rs 134.50 crore. However, the overseas Box Office collection of the movie has not been declared.

Moreover, KGF 2 has also outranked RRR and Jai Bhim to become the highest ranked Indian movie on IMDb. Earlier today, the movie was the second highest rated movie.

KGF 2 Craze Beats Beast

It's is not just RRR, KGF 2 has also beaten Thalpathy Vijay's recent release Beast in his home state Tamil Nadu. It was expected that the Tamil star with his own fan base will triumph in the south state but KGF has smashed Beast though the latter released a day earlier. 

As per reports, the Yash starrer flick was set for almost 350 screens in Tamil Nadu on its opening day. However, the flood of positive reviews for KGF 2 rose up the demand leaving the theatre owners in a split. As Beast had already occupied several screens and it could not be removed, the theatre owners opt to go for extra shows in midnight and early morning.

Similar is the scenario in Odisha's Capital Bhubaneswar. KGF Chapter 2 has been added by the theatres in their midnight to early morning shows. The craze for KGF Chapter 2, Yash, and Sanjay Dutt has spread across India as well as overseas.

As per the latest reports, several theatres in Kerala have dropped Beast for the growing demands for KGF Chapter 2.
