KGF Chapter 2 Craze Overtakes Bhubaneswar, Fans Flock Theatres For First Show Before Sunrise

After nearly four years, fans are able to watch their favourite star Rocky Bhai back in action in KGF Chapter 2. Due to the pandemic, the sequel to the KGF got delayed leaving the fans disappointed. 

However, with COVID19 restrictions being eased and movie theatres opening, fans were eagerly waiting for the action-drama, and the craze for the movie is just mind-boggling. The movie had been shattering box office records even before hitting the screens.

Reportedly, the Yash-starrer has already collected Rs 31 crore on the opening day advance ticket sales only. 

In Bhubaneswar, KGF aficionados were also eagerly waiting for the movie, and such is the craze for KGF that for the first time in the history of Odisha, a film had its premier show at 3 am in the morning with a packed house. 

Yes, you heard that right! KGF lovers were seen flocking to the theatre to watch the movie when the Capital city was still asleep.

Fans were seen in long queues outside theatres to catch the glimpse of the Prashant Neel's directorial.

“It is for the first time that I woke up early to watch the 3 am show of any movie. But I didn't want to miss this chance to catch the first day's first show,” said an excited fan.

Another fan said, “Not only me, there are thousands like me who love the film. So I am here to catch the first show.”

Fans were super excited to watch Rocky Bhai once again and were praising the movie with some of the fans believing that KGF Chapter 2 is better than chapter 1. The fans, who already watched the movie, called the film a super hit and couldn't stop themselves from praising Yash as Rocky Bhai along with Sanjay Dutt as Adheera.

The Prashanth Neel directorial also stars Prakash Raj, Srinidhi Shetty and Raveena Tandon in key roles.
