KGF Chapter 2: Countdown Begins For Update, Inclusion Of 'This' Item Number To Rock Theatres

Kannada actor Yash will turn 36 years old on January 8 this year, with just 7 days left for the big moment of celebration. As the big day for fans of Rocking Star Yash is inching closer, anticipation for KGF Chapter 2 update is mounting high. 

KGF makers have not released any big update since a couple of months that disheartened everyone in the past. But, that didn't stop them from celebrating 3 years of KGF Chapter 1 on December 21. All social media platforms got flooded with posts about the cult movie and its 'history making' attributes. It was the KGF franchise that made Yash a pan-India star and Kannada Film Industry (KFI) got recognised on a bigger platform.

Fans are expecting a big update on Rocking Star's birthday. KGF lovers have even demanded the makers to release the KGF 2 official trailer or at least a single on the big day which will complete their day. However, the makers are yet to make an announcement for the same. But, the buzz is strong that the makers have a big surprise on January 8 for all KGF lovers and Yash fans.

'Mehbooba' Track To Set Stage On Fire! Is It Nora Or Jacqueline?

Meanwhile, KFI's renowned choreographer-turned-director Harsha, who is well-known as the helmer of fantasy action films Bhajarangi and Bhajarangi 2, has spilled the beans about the inclusion of an item number that will rock the theatres. 

During an interview, Harsha revealed that people will enjoy the track included in KGF Chapter 2. As per the choreographer, the movie includes a track with 'Mehbooba, Tu meri Mehbooba' line. He has choreographed the song and it's wonderful. He also has asked everyone to stay tuned for the same.

Earlier, rumours were rife that the makers have included the iconic song 'Mehbooba' from the Hindi cult movie 'Sholay', which was originally composed by the legendary RD Burman and he himself sang it. The lyrics were penned by Anand Bakshi.

Following the same, the media was abuzz that Nora Fatehi will be setting the KGF 2 sets on fire with her dazzling dance moves in the item number while some others stated the inclusion of Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez for the same song for south versions of the movie. It is believed the makers will go 'KGF Chapter 1 way' in which Mouni Roy performed on Gali Gali along with Yash in Hindi version while South beauty Tamannah Bhatia set the stage on fire to Mogam in the same segment for the Tamil viewers.

Well, all have to wait for an official announcement from the makers about both the speculations. KGF Chapter 2, scheduled to release on April 14 this year, is one of the most anticipated movies that was postponed due to the prevailing pandemic situation across the country. As the makers say, KGF 2 is only meant for the big screen and not for an OTT release.
