Keerthy Suresh, Varun Dhawan romance in Vijay-Samantha's Theri remake; fans unhappy

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan and South actress Keerthy Suresh are likely to be seen together for the first time in the Hindi remake of Thalapathy Vijay and Atlee-directed movie, Theri.

Varun Dhawan is currently shooting for spy-thriller series Citadel, the Indian spin-off, along side Samantha Ruth Prabhu. If reports are to be believed, Varun has joined hands with Jawan director Atlee to star in the official Bollywood remake of Theri.

Earlier, Varun was spotted at Atlee's Bandra residence. The actor had also smiled for the paparazzi as he exited his car after meeting the director.

Meanwhile, it seems, some fans are not happy with Atlee for roping in Varun for Theri. "Yuck VarunDhawan ku Keerthy ah😬🤢🤢," wrote a user while another commented, "Kar diya pura satyanass."

"Bro Varun dhawan is a flop tier 4 actor in bollywood😂 Atlee should not waste his time with Varun & focus on thalapathy🔥," wrote a Twitterati while expressing disappointment.
