Katrina Kaif was on brink of cancelling wedding, reveals Vicky Kaushal

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal stand out as a power couple, however, Vicky recently unveiled a surprising twist in their journey to marital bliss which was almost cancelled by the actress. 

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Vicky Kaushal disclosed that Katrina Kaif was on the brink of cancelling their wedding. The revelation stems from a tight shooting schedule that Vicky had to adhere to while filming "Zara Hatke Zara Bachke." Having completed half of the film's shoot, Vicky took a brief break for his wedding with Katrina. However, the makers insisted on his return just two days after the wedding.

In response, Katrina threatened to cancel the wedding if he had to return for the shoot after two days of the marriage. 

"Toh fir mujhe dhamki mil gayi thi ki tumhe do din baad set pe hi jana hai toh shaadi rehne hi do," Vicky was quoted saying.

Later, he chose to prioritise his personal commitments, and opted to delay his return to the film's set by five days, heeding his wife's request.

While the couple has not shared the screen in any film yet, they have collaborated on a few ad shoots. When asked about the prospect of working together, Katrina expressed interest in featuring alongside Vicky in an action-genre film. She even suggested a face-off akin to Zoya and Vihaan from "URI," envisioning an engaging cinematic experience for their fans.

On the work front, Vicky will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Sam Bahadur,’ a biographical war drama based on the life of India's first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw, which will release next Friday.
