Kartik Aaryan not dating Sreeleela! Koki confirms single status, breaks silence on charging Rs 50 crore
Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, being an outsider, has achieved immense success being a young actor and enjoys a huge fanbase. Moreover, he has also proved himself as one of the most bankable actors. Undeniably, his professional and personal life has remained a topic of interest for fans and media. Well, recently Koki addressed the rumours of him dating actress Sreeleela and broke his silence on charging Rs 50 crore for a film.
Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela have teamed up for Anurag Basu's yet-to-be-titled romantic flick. Meanwhile, rumoured romance between the duo has been making waves in the industry for quite a while now. The buzz was further fueled after Koki's mother stated that she wanted a doctor as her future daughter-in-law, a nod to Sreeleela's medical background. Furthermore, Sreeleela's mother also seemingly dropped an indirect hint while making a funny reel with her daughter.
Well, amid the swirling rumours, Kartik finally has broken silence on his relationship status.
During a recent interview with Filmfare, Kartik Aaryan was asked if he is currently in a relationship.
Responding to the query, Koki clarified, "I'm currently single and not dating. In the past, there was a lot of speculation about my dating life, some true, some not."
Notably, at first, Kartik Aaryan was linked with actresses Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. Reportedly, Sara and Kartik dated for a long time and were quite serious about their relationship. However, despite their serious relationship, they parted ways. After his breakup with Sara, Koki was linked with Janhvi Kapoor. The duo were rumoured to have started dating after meeting on the sets of Dostana 2. However, their relationship was short-lived.
Currently, Kartik Aaryan is gearing up for the romantic-comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, directed by Sameer Vidhwans and featuring Ananya Panday opposite him. Following the announcement of Kartik joining hands with Karan Johar, reports were abuzz that Koki charged Rs 50 crore for the project, raising many eyebrows.
Well, during the same interview, Koki broke his silence and said, "Am I the only actor who has received such a price?"
Further, he shared that such figures seem to make headlines only when his name is attached, while others escape the scrutiny.
"The thing is, I don’t have a spokesperson. I don’t have a family here. I don’t have my uncle, or my dad or my sister or my girlfriend spreading positivity about me in the articles or in the industry," he said.
Furthermore, he suggested that such stories emerge from outside sources and when a person carves a path independently, some people get 'irked' by it. Such unease can lead to exaggerated or unnecessary stories built around them, he added.
