Karan Johar, Vijay Deverakonda Gifts BTS clip from Liger shooting to Mike Tyson on special day

Karan Johar, Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday shared a BTS clip from the sets of Liger as a gift to boxing legend Mike Tyson on his birthday today. As is known, Mike Tyson is playing an important role in Vijay’s Bollywood debut movie produced by Dharma Productions. The BTS clip includes a special message for the boxing champion from both Karan and Vijay and also reveals how well the Tollywood star bonded with Mike.

It also shows that Mike really enjoyed being on the sets of Liger and seems to be happy with the mood around. In this tweet, Vijay wished the legend happy birthday and also revealed that he never thought that he will be able to meet him someday and do so many unforgettable things with him.

The team of Liger shot the scenes with Mike Tyson abroad and footage from that shooting went viral a few months ago attracting a lot of attention. Vijay Deverakonda plays the role of a boxer in this movie which will be released in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada simultaneously. It will also mark the Southern debut for Ananya Panday.

The film is slated to release on 25th August 2022. Recently, during an interview, the director of Liger, Puri Jagannadh said that the movie is ready and will be a big dhamaka once it hits the theaters. For Vijay, Liger is going to be a test as it will also decide his future in Bollywood. Already, Southern superstars like Allu Arjun, Yash, Ram Charan, and Jr NTR have delivered big pan India blockbusters.

Bollywood audience has now started taking a huge interest in Southern movies and hence, the time is just right for Vijay Deverakonda to make an entry into the Hindi film industry and establish a pan-India identity.
