Kapil Sharma Gets Scolded On His Own Show: Watch

In a new promo of The Kapil Sharma Show, actress Sonali Kulkarni is seen scolding Kapil Sharma for not learning Marathi despite living in Mumbai for a while now.

Sonali was in the Kapil Sharma Show with Ravi Kishan and Sachin Khedekar to promote their show Whistleblower. The show which will be streamed on SonyLIV revolves around the Vyapam scam in medical colleges that rocked the nation in 2013. The show is created and written by Ajay Monga and directed by Manoj Pillai.

In the promo, Sonali can be seen complaining to Kapil that despite working in several films, she never got an opportunity to appear on The Kapil Sharma Show. While Kapil said it was his honour to have her on the show, Sonali had one complaint – she wanted to know why he was speaking only in Hindi and English, and not in Marathi.

Answering her, Kapil confessed that he didn't know Marathi. Sonali then scolded him for not knowing the language despite living in Mumbai, which is home to many actors who speak the language. However, Kapil replied in Punjabi and said, “You've been talking for so long, you're not giving me a chance to speak.” This left everyone in splits.

She then continued in Marathi, “Shouldn't you know the language of the place you live in a little?” Kapil tried to calm her down and continued in Punjabi saying that he agrees to her points. He then addressed her as ‘ma’am’ after calling her Sonali ji for long. Sonali noticed and asked him to directly to call her Sonali. Kapil then stepped forward and said, “Listen, baby…” and cracked Sonali up.

Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma will also be hosting Sara Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar and Aanand L Rai on his show this weekend. The trio will be seen promoting their upcoming movie Atrangi Re.
