Kangana Ranaut is now all set to make a debut in Hollywood with a horror thriller titled Blessed Be the Evil. She will play the lead in this horror drama alongside Scarlet Rose Stallone of Tulsa King, and Teen Wolf actor Tyler Posey. The film will go on the floors in New York City this summer. Since Trump has declared industry tariffs, the producers have ensured that the shooting takes place in the US so that they do not face any uncertainties.

Produced by Lion Movies the film will be directed by Tailing Pond and New Me director Anurag Rudra.

The story of Kangana Ranaut 's movie revolves around a Christian couple who go through a heart-wrenching miscarriage. That is when they decide to purchase a farm located in a remote area. This abandoned farm has a dark past and creates havoc in the couple's life as they start experiencing a malevolent presence.

Director Rudra in his interview with Variety said, “Being born and spending my childhood in rural India, I was told stories that got embedded in my mind and heart. This folklore was so special that I truly believed in all the stories and wanted to showcase them internationally through the art of cinema – the strongest and most beautiful way to connect to dreams and reality.”

He also added that it will be a spine-chilling narrative that will include a lot of drama and suspense and has huge potential for international markets. The addition of Kangana Ranaut to the star cast is expected to bring huge star power to the project. Known for her recent movie Emergency based on the life of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Kangana Ranaut has proved multiple times that she is a highly versatile actress and has portrayed some unbelievable characters in some of her movies like Fashion, Queen, and Tanu Weds Manu.
