Kangana Ranaut in Pushpa 3!
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is the most anticipated Indian film of 2024. Starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandana, the film has generated immense buzz nationwide. While ‘Pushpa 2’ is still in production, Shreyas Talpade, who voiced Pushpa Raj in the Hindi version, has suggested that Kangana would be a perfect fit for the third installment of Allu Arjun's crime action-thriller, ‘Pushpa’.
Speaking on the sidelines of the ‘Emergency’ trailer launch, Shreyas commended Kangana’s dedication to the script of ‘Emergency’ and explained why he believes she could be part of ‘Pushpa 3’. According to Shreyas, Kangana’s multitasking ability and her never-give-up attitude make her an ideal fit for the ‘Pushpa’ franchise.
He shared, "When Kangana approached me for the role of Atal ji, I was initially confused and terrified. I wondered, ‘What did she just ask me to do? Should I take it up or leave it?’ Not because of her industry boycott, but due to nervousness."
He further recounted an incident on set, saying, "I was rehearsing for a scene, and it went well. But during the actual take, I tried to add something extra. Kangana came up and whispered, ‘Whatever you practiced during rehearsals, kindly stick to that.’ Her ability to multi-task is impressive. If they make the third part of Pushpa, they should cast Kangana Ranaut because ‘Jhukega nahi saala kabhi bhi (Won't bow down, come what may).'"
‘Pushpa’, directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun, released its first part in 2021. The second part is set to release in December this year.
As for ‘Emergency’, directed by Kangana herself, the film boasts a vast cast including Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles. According to the official synopsis, the film is "based on true events that unfolded in 1975, chronicling incidents that took place under the leadership of Mrs. Indira Gandhi, one of the most powerful women in Indian history.
