Actress Kangana Ranaut recently cleared the air surrounding her personal life after a video of her walking hand-in-hand with a foreigner went viral on social media. The mystery man, identified as celebrity hairstylist Loic Chapoix, sparked rumours of a romantic involvement.
Taking to her Instagram on Saturday, Kangana dismissed the rumours with a strong-worded statement. She clarified that Loic Chapoix is her "wonderful courteous" hairstylist. The actress emphasized that the public should not jump to conclusions, noting that a man and a woman walking together could signify various relationships, including colleagues, siblings, or simply a hairstylist and client with a cordial connection.
Sharing a couple of her photos with Loic Chapoix that went viral, the Queen actress wrote, "I am getting a lot of calls and messages about the mystery man I often hangout with outside a salon... whole filmy/ Bolly media is salivating and coming up with all kinds if erotic fantasies, well a man and a woman walking together on a street can be many possibilities not just sexual, they can be colleagues, siblings, work friends and at times simply a wonderful courteous hairstylist with a friendly client of many years."
On the professional front, Kangana's recent film, ‘Tejas,’ faced a lacklustre response at the box office. Despite the setback, the actress is gearing up for her next project, "Emergency," a political drama where she portrays former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Notably, Kangana has taken on the dual role of lead actress and director for the film, which features a star-studded ensemble cast including late Satish Kaushik, Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry and Milind Soman, portraying pivotal figures in Indian political history.
