On the professional front, Kangana's recent film, ‘Tejas,’ faced a lacklustre response at the box office. Despite the setback, the actress is gearing up for her next project, "Emergency," a political drama where she portrays former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Notably, Kangana has taken on the dual role of lead actress and director for the film, which features a star-studded ensemble cast including late Satish Kaushik, Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry and Milind Soman, portraying pivotal figures in Indian political history.
