Kamal Haasan roped in as villain for Prabhas' Project K?

Prabhas has multiple big-budget movies from reputed directors lined up for release. Adipurush helmed by Om Raut made with a massive budget of 700 crore will hit the theatres in June. The Baahubali actor has also completed most of the shooting for KGF fame Prashanth Neel’s Salaar and next he has Project K with Amitabh Bachchan , Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, set to release in 2024.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, Project K is a science-fiction and hence will have lots of mysteries, twists, and larger-than-life canvas displayed with the aid of the latest VFX technology. Prabhas is a crowd-puller in Tollywood. However, with the presence of big stars like Big B and Deeps from Bollywood, it is also expected to attract decent footfall from Bollywood fans.

Interestingly, while Deepika and Amitabh are doing positive characters in the movie, there has been no update as to who will play the lead antagonist in Project K. Now a buzz has started on social media that says that Indian actor Kamal Haasan will lead the villain gang in this Prabhas movie.

If the same is true then undoubtedly, it will add more value to the movie’s content as Kamal is known as one of the biggest actors in India who has delivered some excellent and unforgettable performances in all types of roles. Although the producers of Project K have not yet revealed the exact name or details of the antagonist in the movie, they started promoting it in a novel way months before the scheduled release date.

Earlier in April the creators came out with a pre-production work video titled, “From Skratch” and kicked off the promotional campaign for this Nag Ashwin-directed film. Its first episode, “Reinventing the Wheel showed how a special wheel has been designed. Days later, they released a second episode called, “Assembling The Raiders.”

The clip reveals that these raiders are nothing but the uniformed army of the villain and the latest buzz says that the leader is none other than Kamal Haasan . The makers are yet to confirm these speculations but if it comes true then it will double the excitement of the audience as they will get to see Amitabh and Kamal together after decades.
