Prabhas' upcoming action-packed flick Kalki 2898 AD is one of the highly-anticipated movies that fans are eagerly waiting for. Recently, a few pictures from the sets surfaced on social media fuelling excitement among all. Now, the makers have teased a big update from Prabhas-starrer on the occasion of the auspicious Maha Shivratri adding fuel to the excitement of fans.
Prabhas' character name in the futuristic movie is 'Bhairava'. Along with revealing the character's name, the makers dropped a poster of Prabhas as Bhairava.
In the picture, the Baahubali actor can be seen showcasing his bicep. Bhairava is seen sporting a unique costume with a man bun hairstyle.
The caption for the post reads: "From the future streets of Kasi, introducing Bhairava from Kalki 2898 AD.”

Kalki 2898 AD, helmed by Nag Ashwin, the film is set in a dystopian world. While Deepika Padukone as the female lead will be seen for the first time opposite Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Rajendra Prasad, and Pasupathy will be seen in pivotal roles.
As it seems, from the caption, the movie will be set in the future streets of the holy place Kasi.
The makers have elevated the excitement among all after posting the new poster and revealing Prabhas' name in the movie. Fans have already started celebrations on social media. From the comments it seems, fans are highly excited and hopeful.

Moreover, Prabhas sporting a man bun has elated several others. Certain fans have opined that 'man bun will be back on trend.'
Earlier today, the makers had hinted at revealing the name of Prabhas.
With less than two months to go before the grand release of Kalki 2898 AD, the makers of the film on Thursday dropped two pictures from the sets of the movie.
In one picture, Prabhas and Disha Patani can be seen posing for the camera in the chilly, windy landscape of Italy. In the second picture, Disha can be seen clicking Prabhas while enjoying their ride in the air.
Kalki 2898 AD is scheduled for theatrical release on May 9, 2024. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, along with other foreign languages.
