Kalki 2898 AD: Kamal Haasan's Supreme Yaskin is Lord Brahma's 5th head? Fan theory generates buzz

Nag Ashwin's grand epic sci-fi movie Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in key roles, made a significant impact at the box office. 

The movie, set in a dystopian future in 2898 AD, gives a glimpse into the post-apocalyptic world where nature has vanished and darkness prevails. While Prabhas plays the role of Bhairava, a bounty hunter and the reincarnation of Karna, Big B essays the immortal Ashwatthama, Deepika is portrayed as SUM-80 (Sumathi), a woman possibly pregnant with Kalki, the tenth and final avatar of Lord Vishnu. On the other hand, while Kamal plays the antagonist Supreme Yaskin, details about his character have been kept under wraps. 

Recently, a fan theory has generated immense buzz on social media in which the movie enthusiast opines that Supreme Yaskin is Lord Brahma's fifth head.

Supreme Yaskin is Lord Brahma's Fifth Head?

Taking to X, a user going by the account name 'Movie Lord', wrote, "Who is Supreme Yaskin? {A THEARD THE WILL REVEAL KALKI PLOT}" (sic)

The thread starts with stating Yaskin as a part of Lord Brahma, who was removed from the creator. Further, the fan theory suggests that Yaskin was Brahma's 5th head, who had evil qualities. The user also shares a few pointers supporting the theory.

The user wrote, "Yaskin hates humans and represents himself as a higher being than humans, and acts as if he created the earth and its living beings. and our moral means nothing to him similarly, the 5th head of Brahma was egoistic and arrogant something that can be seen in Yaskin's behaviour." (sic)

The fan theory further states that Yaskin is a fallen God, a dark side, which was removed by Lord Shiva himself and cursed the creator not to be worshipped by humans. 

According to the theory, Yaskin built an empire in 2898 AD and is a God-like figure, and is worshipped as Supreme Yaskin.

Further, the theory suggests, Yaskin's attire looks similar to Lord Brahma, and in the first part, he was often shown in a meditating position, which looks similar to Lord Brahma.

According to Hindu scriptures, Lord Shiva decapitated Lord Brahma's fifth head with Trishul (Trident). The theory suggests that the visible cut marks on Yaskin's head imply that he was attacked with something powerful, like a Trident.

The theory further suggests that Yaskin was able to lift the Gandeeva (Arjun's bow) as he was a part of Brahma, and not because of the extracted serum. According to Hindu scriptures, Lord Brahma created the powerful Gandeeva in the Dwapar Yug for Arjun, and only he could handle it. In the first instalment, Yaskim was shown lifting the Gandeeva without a second thought. He also created a powerful energy force field around himself and a few arms like Brahma has.

The fan also wrote, "These are something that no one can do just at his first try you may think it's because of the serum but I would say no its the director playing it cleverly to fool us and made us think that its because of the serum." (sic)

Prabhas and Bhairava's Connection

Further, the fan writes that Nag Ashwin named Prabhas' character as Bhairava because Lord Shiva's form Bhairava executed the fifth head.

Well, the interesting thread might have no connection with what Ashwin has on cards for the sequel. However, the possibilities may not be ignored.

Meanwhile, the fan theory has generated buzz, and netizens have praised it. While many have endorsed the possibilities of Supreme Yaskin being Lord Brahma's fifth head, a few have disapproved of Prabhas' connection with Bhairava, as Ashwin has already hinted in the first instalment about him being a reincarnation of Karna.

Well, the story will unveil in the second instalment and fans certainly can't wait for the same.
