2003’s Hindi movie Kal Ho Naa Ho , starring Shah Rukh Khan , Preity Zinta , and Saif Ali Khan in the lead clocked 19 years on Monday. While fans with a pile of memories of the romantic saga and its music have gone down memory lane, Preity and filmmaker Karan Johar have gone nostalgic.

Earlier today, Karan Johar shared a throwback pic from the sets of Kal ho Naa Ho. In the monochrome picture, Karan is seen holding the script and interacting with SRK . Meanwhile, KJo ’s father Yash Johar is seen standing behind him and Bollywood Nawab Saif is seen settled on a chair with his back towards the camera.

As it seems from the photo, the scene was from the café run by Jaya Bachchan aka Jennifer.

Karan penned down an emotional note: “An entire lifetime of memories, in a heartbeat! This film gave so much more than just that - it gave me joy, unbreakable bonds, a different lens for story telling and of course - the last film set I could be on with my father. And for that, I will forever be grateful to this film!♥️#19YearsOfKalHoNaaHo”

Meanwhile, the dimple girl also shared a few clips from the movie that she quoted to be the best scene.

“Remembering Kal Ho Naa Ho on its anniversary this Thanksgiving weekend. This is one of my favourite scenes from the film cuz multiple pages of dialogue were shot in One big take. Later a few close ups were added. This scene is all about gratitude & appreciating what we have in our present. This was my saddest happy film 💕 So grateful to have the opportunity to be part of films & cinema I enjoy & believe in 😍 #KalHoNaaHo #Gratitude #Thanksgiving #Weekend #Ting,” her caption read in which SRK tries to teach a life lesson to Preity after her plans of introducing Saif as her boyfriend foiled.

Fans must be still in awe of the scene and the dialogues when SRK says, “Suno.. jiyo, khus raho, muskurao… kya patta Kal Ho Naa Ho...”

Later in the day, she also shared another clip from the sad version of Kal Ho Naa Ho. She captioned the post: “A special thanks to @shankarehsaanloy , Javed uncle, @sonunigamofficial @therealalkayagnik @uditnarayanmusic @singer_shaan @richasharmaofficial @madhushreemusic @vasundharadas #SadhanaSargam @farahkhankunder @nikkhiladvani @karanjohar for bringing the music alive in this incredible movie. Team work makes the dream work 💕😍❤️ #KalHoNaaHo #19yearsofkalhonaaho #ting”

Indeed, the movie has created several memories for many movie buffs. Even the songs composed by the music director trio- Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy still trigger emotions among music lovers. Above all, the title song Kal Ho Naa Ho, which was voiced by Sonu Nigam still remains one of the most loved romantic tracks of Bollywood.
