2000's romantic musical thriller Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, which marked the debut of Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel, recently clocked 25 years. The movie was a blockbuster during its initial release. To celebrate the milestone, the makers re-released it and fans loved to relive the magical moment again. Soon after that fans demanded a sequel to Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai. Amid the growing demands of the fans, Ameesha Patel has broken her silence regarding the sequel.

Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai Sequel on The Cards?

During the re-release, both Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel were quite excited. Even Ameesha was spotted in theatres sharing some enjoyable moments with the fans. Well, recently she was spotted at the airport when Paps once again raised questions about a possible sequel to Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai.

Responding to the question, the Gadar 2 actress said, "Rakesh uncle se poocho. Hrithik se poocho. Banna toh chahiye. Audience ko toh chahiye (Ask Rakesh uncle or Hrithik. It should be made as the audience wants it)."

While Ameesha agrees with the demands raised by the audience, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan and his actor son Hrithik Roshan could possibly give a thought to making a sequel. Fans can just wait with their fingers crossed and hope for a positive outcome.

With the phenomenal success of Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, Hrithik and Ameesha became overnight sensations. The movie won 92 awards and found a place in Guinness World Records. The father-son duo bagged their first Filmfare awards with the movie. While Rakesh collected the Filmfare Award as the director and producer, Hrithik bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Debut (Male) and Filmfare Award for Best Actor.
