Jr NTR's flick with Prashanth Neel will be bigger than Yash's KGF and Prabhas' Salaar?

After delivering two back-to-back pan-India blockbusters, KGF Chapter 2 and Salaar Part 1, filmmaker Prashanth Neel is now aiming higher than ever. His next untitled film with Jr NTR, tentatively titled NTR-Neel, is already creating waves in the industry. If insider buzz is to be believed, this project is shaping up to be bigger than anything Neel has ever attempted.

NTR-Neel’s Scale

Although the film is still far from release, a source close to the project revealed that Prashanth Neel considers this his most ambitious venture yet. 

The source revealed to Hindustan Times, “Prashanth Neel’s next with Jr NTR is his most ambitious and biggest project yet; even bigger than his pan-India blockbusters like KGF and Salaar. This is a film he has dreamt of making from the very beginning.”

While details remain under wraps, the source added that Neel is now working without financial limits. 

The source further stated, “He feels that now is the right time, as he no longer has budget constraints and has also managed to bring on board his favourite actor, Jr NTR, to play the lead. Prashanth Neel is extremely happy with how the film is shaping up and says it is progressing beyond what he had even imagined.” 

All About the Jr NTR-Starrer

Reports earlier suggested that the film might be titled Dragon, though the team has not confirmed this. In April this year, the official X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram accounts of NTR Neel announced that the film will hit theatres on June 25, 2026.

Initially, the makers had planned to reveal the first look on Jr NTR’s birthday in May, but the announcement was postponed to give way to his Bollywood debut in War 2.
