Shortly after facing backlash from innumerable Odia speaking community, Anubhav Sinha, the director of Ayushmann Khurrana's upcoming starrer Anek, has recently released a fresh promo of the movie with an Odia hashtag.

As per reports, Sinha had earlier released a clip of the movie with the hashtag of ‘JeetegaKaun? Hindustan’ in Hindi and several other official languages, however he had missed out in including Odia in the promotion.

Set to be released in theatres on May 27, the movie Anek's promo was enacted by several artistes, sportspersons, social workers and other noted celebrities in a total of 23 languages.

Even as netizens gushed over the promo and relished it instantly, thousands of Odia fans of Ayushmann and Anubhav were not happy. Most of them took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction over the exclusion of Odia language from the promo of the political action thriller.

“What a Promotion…@ayushmannk thank you for forgetting #Odia ! Bengali, Maithali, Sindhi as part ? But you forget the oldest civilisation? Really,” tweeted an Odia netizen.

Responding to the sheer dissatisfaction expressed by the Odia speakers and paying respect to their feelings, director of the movie Anubhav Sinha finally came up with a fresh promo of the film with an Odia hashtag of ‘Jitibakie, Hindustan’ enacted by none other than himself.

As far the film Anek is concerned, actor Ayushmann plays an agent named Joshua, who is sent on a mission in the North East of the country. His job is to neutralise a threat being posed by the separatists.
