Jawan 2, Shah Rukh Khan-Thalapathy Vijay together in a movie: Atlee reveals plans

Director Atlee, known for his Tamil blockbusters like 'Raja Rani', 'Theri', 'Mersal', and 'Bigil', made his debut in Hindi cinema with 'Jawan', starring Shah Rukh Khan. 

The film became a Pan India project, featuring actors from various industries, including Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, and Sanjay Dutt. 

Jawan has become a huge blockbuster and is on its way to becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film ever.

Meanwhile, Atlee recently talked about his plans for a sequel to Jawan or Jawan 2. He mentioned that while he typically doesn't consider sequels for his films, but he's open to the idea of 'Jawan' if a strong concept arises.

In an interview with PinkVilla, Atlee said, “"Every film of mine has an open end but to date, I have never thought of doing a sequel to any of my films. For Jawan, if anything strong comes to me, I will make a part two. I have kept an open end and I can come up with a sequel now or later. But definitely will come up with a sequel to Jawan one day."

Notably, the film ends with Shah Rukh Khan's characters discussing their next mission, and it has been revealed that Sanjay Dutt's cop character has been working with Azad (SRK) throughout.

When asked why he didn't include a cameo of Thalapathy Vijay, his frequent collaborator, Atlee explained that he didn't want to force it. Instead, he intends to create a script that brings both Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay together in the future.
