At a recent event, Kareena clearly ignored Shahid on the red carpet, sparking discussions about their strained relationship on the internet.
In the viral video, Shahid, adorned in a dapper black ensemble and accompanied by his Farzi director Raj & DK, posed with his award. As Kareena made her entry,
Shahid could be seen stopping posing, allowing her to pass by. Despite greeting the filmmakers, she didn’t even have eye-to-eye contact with Shahid. In the video Shahid, maintained an awkward smile, which quickly went viral, prompting drastic reactions from netizens.
Commenting on the post, one user described the encounter as "soo Akwaaaard," while another noted, "They didn't even say hi to each other."
It's worth mentioning that on Koffee With Karan Season 2, Kareena had acknowledged her relationship with Shahid, revealing, "He didn't even bother; I was the one who chased him for two months. Yeah, I was the one who was taking initiatives and sending messages, and then, of course, we met, and it all started."
The duo, who were romantically linked during the shoot of Imtiaz Ali's blockbuster film Jab We Met, however, parted ways after the movie's release.
